MQuiz- The Telecom quiz conducted by MoMo Bangalore in association with Nokia Forum was a Saturday afternoon well spent. The quiz conducted by Team Nexus (Venky and Kivi) was very good on content and extremely well done. With over 35 teams participating, the quiz garnered a good response from both the Corporates and the Students. After a common prelim, the quiz had two separate tracks for both the students and the corporates.

The Students quiz was a close three way battle till the last question between BMSCE, UVCE and BITS(Pilani) but the composed BMS team won the contest by five points.

The Corporate Track was a completely different affair, being dominated by Mitesh and Udupa from the very first question and winning the quiz handsomely with over a 70 point margin.

Find below the prelims of the quiz, Finals to follow soon

The first Epic Quiz was conducted at the Bharatiya Vida Bahvan, Bangalore by The DRS Team. Although, the first edition did not receive an overwhelming response with justover 10 teams, I have a feeling this concept will go a long way. Winners also took home cash prizes. Corporates or any individual interested in sponsoring this concept is requested to contact the event managers:Dishant-(+91) 9880647979 /Rituraj-(+91) 9449324623

The prelim had various areas of business covered which resulted in a low cut off. The finals was good but the first few rounds seemed to be completely concentrated on Auto brands. A larger variety would definitely be more enjoyable. All the same, good show boys, hope to be part of your events directly or indirectly in the future.

Winners: Rohit Nair & Varun Balan

Runners up : Abhinav Mouli & Balram S

As promised here are the prelims and the finals, all thanks to the quizmasters.

Do feel free to comment and leave feedback for the benefit of the event organizers.
