The Department of IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka is organising India’s largest State Level BioQuiz 2011.
About the Quiz
· Open to B.Sc., B.Sc. - Agri, B.E.-Biotechnology and B.Pharma. students across Karnataka. The quiz is a part of Bangalore India Bio 2011 held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore during May 4-6, 2011
· The objective of the Quiz is to create awareness and help students understand Science and Biotechnology in a more comprehensive manner keeping them abreast of the latest developments in the world of Biotechnology.
· Team Event - 2 participants (bonafide students from the same college pursuing the above mentioned courses) make a Team
· There is no participation fee
· The quiz will be designed in association with QuizWorks.

2. Round II: State Finals on 6th May, 2011 in “Bangalore International Exhibition Centre”
· The regional 6 winners would qualify to participate in the State Finals to be held at Bangalore on 6th May, 2011.
· Suitable remuneration (travel & accommodation expenses) will be given to 6 teams who would be participating in the State Finals ie Round-2
