Champions ki Khoj is A Quizworks Presentation

Dude, I heard you were not doing the quiz. The buggers had approached us on 7th September and we said, “No chance.” Anyways, best of luck.
Raj did the quiz..
Hi all,
I participated today in the Delhi round of Champions ki Khoj.
The Quiz was a General Quiz with a strong flavor of Business and Sports as it was a celebration quiz of the Commonwealth Games.
The Quiz participation was different from the fact that most teams had turned up as teams of 4-5 because of the marketing done in campus. But certain colleges also had Teams of 2-3. The Quizmaster, Harneet Singh announced that teams could be of varying size between 2 and 5.
The quiz consisted of 20 questions in the prelims. The questions were very good and very workable. Content varied from Indian history to military helicopters to current affairs.
4 teams were chosen for the finals. The finals consisted of 4 rounds- Sports, Finacne and Business, Think Hatke a connect round and Visual round.
The questions were good and we really enjoyed the questions. Harneet was very good as a host and had a lot of audience questions and kept the audience engaged. After four rounds, FMS won the quiz followed by Bharatiya Vidyapeet.
Some questions i remember:
1. Chang Lo is a traditional dance from which state?
2. What does ALH stand for ? (developed by HAL etc)
3. One of the oldest soaps in India, created by B Godrej was endorsed by Vinod Khanna etc. Which one?
4. Which comic character uses Transmorgifier?
5. Song from Jab We met. Which city does Kareena hail from in the movie?
Overall, nice quiz experience. Hope to participate in many more of these shows.
Pls do keep us informed about future quizzes.
Thank you.
Piyush.
