Someone please tell Giri that 12 is a bloody crowd. I thought the only person who conducted quizzes with a dozen teams on stage was Pornob-without-the-B.

I’m presuming the final at the campus level will be the same as the corporate.. 12 team one.. I agree with ur crowd funda, but in a sense calling all winning teams to a ‘Final’ and then putting hem through a couple of semi finals and then a final would also not be appropriate, is my view
But, well.. The Tatas know it all.. So, we just voice opinion, they take decision..

I have no problems with giri.. and about winning his quiz.. I couldn’t have asked for more than winning IIM-Lucknow (which incidentally was a Giri and Corporate quiz)
I have no probs with Aditya and Vinay too.. I know them well enuf, personally too
But I do not appreciate the Tatas letting ICAI students participate..
The fact remains that when you distinguish 3 teams from Christ college on the basis of B.Com / MBA & BBM and not bother about two students who audit for 2 completely different companies (in this case BMR & E and Y i think), I think the event co-ordinators have got to rectify something somewhere!!
This in large means anybody under VTU and BU can team up and go as a team.. or for that matter 2 ppl working in 2 different companies but pursuing their correspondence degrees with IGNOU or Annamalai University can team up..
And about me accusing Giri, its not true.. I accuse his research team that brings out the dirty connect round..
The fact remains that you cannot show Moet & Hennesey (and not only just the logo but also the name written) and expect the answer to be LVMH- thats the god dam expansion for heaven’s sake..
Also the 7 Up question- the only possible link was Mallika Sherawat, not a soul in that audi would have known the connect sans the murder song..
And let me also tell you, that it is only ppl like me and our voices that have brought about improvement in the content of a number of quizmasters.
All ppl like you can do, is write a comment on my blog under a pseudo name and enjoy the quiz from the seats of an audience..
You might enjoy the quiz but its one round that makes all the difference in a quiz for us quizzers
